Recently I started to put together a rack with audio equipment in it that I can use for recording. However due to time and money reasons, I am not able to finish this until the summer when I can buy all the cablingĀ and to make all the cables needed. Another problem is that the Presonus interface is struggling to have a firmware update, so I might need to replace it with something else. I plan on having point where I can plug into on the top of the rack, and then have those half normalled to the interfaces. This allows me to have the rack next to the microphones, or I can use a snake to be further away. I am also designing this rack to be fully portable so I can bring it to rehearsal spaces or anywhere I want to record.
